It was a symbolic event as the GCNC celebrates 5 years of strong engagement with the Canadian private sector. The GCNC took this opportunity and thanked everyone in attendance for their continued support and participation in celebrating this special milestone.
The night also hosted the 2018 SDG Leadership Awards ceremony. The GCNC welcomed a special guest for the evening – Mr. Adam Vaughan, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development. Mr. Vaughan presented the SDG Leadership Award to this year’s winners and recognized them for their dedication in implementing the SDG’s and their continued inspiration for business action.
