Canadian SDG Awards

Canadian SDG Awards

The Canadian SDG Awards was first launched in 2016 with the aim of recognizing outstanding efforts to advance actions towards the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For the past five years, Global Compact Network Canada has organized this program as a platform for businesses to showcase their commitment towards sustainability and the 2030 Agenda.

The aim of the Awards is to encourage all Canadian organizations to embed the Global Goals and highlight some of the amazing progress that both the private and public sectors have made towards solving the pressing environmental, social and economic challenges of our time.

Additionally, the Awards act as a catalyst for business leaders to gain exposure and to foster multi-stakeholder dialogues, create new partnerships, explore innovative solutions to accelerate the SDGs in Canada, and benchmark their company’s sustainability initiatives with industry peers.
