The College of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph

The College of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph joined the Global Compact Network Canada (GCNC) to advance its faculty research and teaching of principles related to corporate social responsibility and to enhance its connections within the United Nations Global Compact community. The school’s mission is to develop and be “leaders for a sustainable world.” It believes that business should be used as a tool for social, environmental and economic betterment.

By joining the GCNC, the College hopes to expand its network of academics and business professionals within Canadian organizations who are similarly committed to meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. They hope to partner with GCNC in a variety of ways including identifying individuals from partner organizations who may wish to participate in faculty-led research, guest lecture, or hire co-op students.

Through research, teaching and student activities, the College is committed to meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.[/vc_column_text]
