Janice Noronha - Partner, Risk Assurance Services: PwC CanadaJanice Noronha is a Partner within the PwC Deals and Value Creation Practice, specializing in Sustainability and Climate Change Practice. She has more than twenty-eight years of experience in the review, development and implementation of ESG strategies, programs and reporting frameworks. As a seasoned strategic advisor, she has advised numerous organizations on their approach to embedding the UN SDGs into business strategies, including policy alignment, priority setting, implementation, and impact analysis with a focus on shared value creation.

Her many years of experience in the sustainability field cover a diverse range of industrial and institutional settings in Canada and the US, including financial services, transportation and logistics, retail, aerospace, infrastructure, real estate, agriculture, and the metals and mining sectors. She also plays a pivotal role in advancing knowledge and building capacity in sustainability. Notably, she has supported sustainability thought leadership with the Prince of Wales Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) Canadian Chapter to build awareness on sustainable business models and transparency frameworks; worked with the Investor Leadership Network, an output of the G7, on their TCFD Behind the Scenes publication; and continues to participate at various industry forums to inform ESG value creation and investor positioning strategies.

Janice holds a Master of Management in Environmental Studies (MES) from Dalhousie University and has a postgraduate diploma degree in Public Administration.
