The Hot Seat Outlook on the 2030 Agenda

This session will highlight some of the key global initiatives that are accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals, and discuss Canada’s contribution to the movement. In particular, we will highlight areas where Canada’s private sector has an opportunity to step up and take on more of a leadership role locally. The panelists will explore potential outcomes, such as the formation of working groups to convene experts and stakeholders, and develop solutions for challenges identified in the discussion. This session will be moderated by Melissa Powell, Chief of Staff of the UN Global Compact.
