Ramina is the International Advocacy Specialist at UNICEF Canada. She is passionate about building a better world for children and advocates to keep them protected, healthy, educated, and to give them a fair chance at fulfilling their potential. Ramina brings her extensive experience in public policy, politics, and government relations to advocate for the rights and well-being of children around the world. In addition to experience in the civil service and private sector, she has served in a variety of political roles on Parliament Hill, providing strategic advice, directing legislative and policy agendas and responding to emerging political issues for Members of Parliament. She has helped lead and oversee the development of key pieces of legislation for the Government of Canada. Ramina holds an M.A. in Global Governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs at the University of Waterloo, and a B.A. (Hons) in Philosophy and Middle East Studies from the University of Toronto.
