Sustainability Spotlight Webinar Series

The GCNC provides platforms for Network Supporters to demonstrate corporate sustainability expertise and leadership. One of these platforms is the Sustainability Spotlight Webinar Series, which allows GCNC’s Patron and Visionary Supporters to co-host webinars with us to showcase their company’s sustainability initiatives and policies related to the Sustainable Development Goals, or the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact. Sustainability Reporting Peer Review Program

The Reporting Peer Review Program is a platform for companies to exchange and receive feedback, share best practices, and improve their corporate sustainability reporting practices. Join this peer review program if you want to benchmark your sustainability report and receive feedback from other corporate sustainability experts, hear their perspectives, lessons learned, and much more.

SDG Reporting Training Workshops

The SDG Reporting Training is an interactive workshop that showcases emerging reporting practices for sustainability professionals to learn how to keep track of and report on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at their organizations.

At these workshops, participants get the opportunity to hear about successes, lessons learned, and best practices from industry peers and reporting experts like the UN Global Compact, Statistics Canada, and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The workshop also helps participants to build capacity for improving on existing reporting practices, or to develop an internal process to report on the SDGs.

The SDG Accelerator Program

The Canadian SDG Accelerator Awards is Canada’s premier Awards event for recognizing businesses and non-businesses that are doing exceptional work to integrate and advance action towards the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Every year, the Global Compact Network Canada collects entries from organizations across the private, not-for-profit, and academic sectors across Canada, with the goal of highlighting the leadership, progress, and accomplishments that these organizations have made towards solving some the most pressing environmental, social and economic challenges in our communities.
