Alejandro Jimenez is a Colombian executive with ample experience in the oil and gas sector. Mr. Jimenez began his career at Frontera Energy in 2006 and has undertaken several positions in his more than 11 years in the company, such as New Business, Exploration & Corporate Lawyer, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager and Institutional Relations & Sustainability Manager.
In 2017, Mr. Jimenez was appointed Corporate Affairs Director, and he is currently in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility, HSEQ, Government Affairs, Corporate University, Communications, and Administration and General Services. He is also the current Director of the Corporate Foundation (Fundación Frontera).
Under Mr. Jimenez leadership, Frontera has implemented important social and environmental practices, guaranteeing a sustainable operation and consolidating the company’s reputation as a sustainability leader in the oil & gas industry worldwide.
Mr. Jimenez is a Lawyer and has a Masters in Law (LL.M) from Universidad de los Andes, as well as an MBA from Georgetown University – McDonough School of Business.
