Meigan Terry is the Senior Vice President of Global Communications, Culture and Social Enterprise at Scotiabank.
Meigan has extensive experience leading global communications, brand management, corporate affairs and employee engagement for iconic global brands.
Prior to joining Scotiabank in 2018, Meigan was a member of Virgin Atlantic’s leadership team in the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Communications. In this position she managed all aspects of Virgin Atlantic’s communications, brand management, public policy, government affairs and social media. Meigan also led Virgin Atlantic’s sustainability, environment and community investment programs, in addition acting as executive sponsor for the Virgin Atlantic Foundation.
Before joining Virgin Atlantic, Meigan was at BlackBerry where she her roles included Vice President of Corporate Affairs of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, Global Head of Advocacy, and Vice President, Marketing for BBM.
Prior to this, Meigan served as a Director at WPP Consultancy Hill & Knowlton in London.
Meigan serves on the board of We Charity in the UK and the Canadian Journalism Foundation Board here in Toronto.
Meigan is delighted to be back in Toronto working at Scotiabank, after 18 years in the UK.
