Over the past four decades, Dr. Michael Kaufman has worked in fifty countries with the United Nations, governments, corporations, NGOs and women’s organizations, unions, and universities. His book, The Time Has Come: Why Men Must Join the Gender Equality Revolution, draws on his work as an advisor and educator focused on engaging men to promote women’s rights and positively transform the lives of men.
He is the co-founder of the White Ribbon Campaign, the largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women. He is a Senior Fellow with Promundo based in Washington D.C. Michael is the author or editor of nine books. In January his first thriller will be published. The Last Exit is set in Washington DC in 2033.
