Suzanna is currently the Deputy Director for the Sustainable Development Goals Unit (SDGs) at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). She is a multilingual professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, program management, and sustainability. She has extensive experience in national and international standards development including in South Korea, Japan, Turkey, Switzerland, and Tanzania and holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from Ottawa University.
Previously, as the Program Manager at the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) for national and international standards development and oversaw the work for more than 420 national/international mirror committees. She was the Head of delegation for Canada for the ISO/COPOLCO the Canadian Consumer Policy Mirror Committee to ISO and was involved in other work such as the Reseau de Normalization de Francophonie (RNF), UNSDGs, Canada’s Service Standardization, Canada’s Smart Cities Initiative, Ethical AI, Blockchain, IoT, and other.
She has also worked with innovative initiatives such as OuiShare; The Global Impact Sourcing Coalition (GISC); International Trade Center (ITC); Association for credible sustainability standards (ISEAL); UNECE – W6; UN/CEFACT; ISPIM, ISO/TC 324 Sharing and Collaborative economy, Digital Supercluster Initiative, and is the proud founder of Collabofide Inc.
