Keira Kang

Social Sustainability Coordinator

Keira (she/her) is a program coordinator responsible for delivering social sustainability initiatives related to human rights, gender equality, decent work, and equity, diversity and inclusion at Global Compact Network Canada. Keira currently supports the delivery of gender equality leadership in the Canadian private sector with the Target Gender Equality program. Having previously worked in workshop coordination and policy analysis across UN entities and academic institutions, Keira is committed to advocating for sustainable systemic change to create more equitable organizational contexts for all people of varied lived experiences.

She holds a Master of Information degree with a specialization Critical Information Policy from the University of Toronto and a B.A. (’19) in International Development from McGill University.

As a first-generation immigrant from South Korea, she is enthusiastic about elevating the perspectives of young, racialized women so that our world can become strengthened by diverse voices, stories, and knowledge systems.
