As General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Marian Van Hoek leads the Legal and Compliance team at BASF Canada, and is responsible for legal support to the various BASF businesses, functions and sites across Canada. She is the executive sponsor of the Women At BASF employee resource group.
Marian started her legal career practicing commercial litigation and prior to joining BASF, Marian worked as in-house counsel at a technology company. Marian holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from Western University. She lives in Toronto with her husband and two sons.
