Rumina Dhalla

Dr. Rumina Dhalla, MBA, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph. She was appointed Coordinator for Sustainability activities at Lang, and is also the MBA Graduate Coordinator. She was the Project Lead for Guelph East Africa initiative, a multinational cross-disciplinary initiative led by the University of Guelph. She has also accumulated over 20 years of industry experience, much of it in the Canadian banking industry. An accomplished teacher in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, she was recently awarded the MBA Distinguished Professor Award. Service has always been a big part of Dr. Dhalla’s academic life and she was recognized for her service with the 2019 United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education NA Excellence in Service Award. She is also the Vice-Chair, PRME North America Chapter, Guardian with the Global Responsible Leadership Initiative.
