Matthew Morales (he/they) is deeply curious about people and the worlds that we create together. As a designer, participatory researcher, and futurist, Matthew has supported social impact organizations and the communities they serve to make equitable and evidence-informed decisions. He's had the honour of partnering with grantmakers, advocacy organizations and governments such as the Ontario Arts Council, UNICEF Canada, Open Society Foundations, and Oxfam International.
In his role as Community Engagement Specialist, Matthew will work on the Corporate Climate Adaptation and Community Impact initiative to better understand how climate adaptation projects impact communities through intersections of identity, history, and status.
Matthew holds a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Waterloo, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Art and Communications from the University of Toronto. In his spare time, you may find him drawing in a cozy coffee shop or digging a volleyball in his local league.
