Aileen is an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at Hedgehog Technologies. While she began with a major in biology and a minor in psychology at UBC, her passion for hands-on work and turning ideas into reality led her to earn a degree in electrical engineering from BCIT. Her role at Hedgehog allows her to collaborate closely with a variety of clients, understanding their visions and helping bring their projects to life. She is currently the project manager for the Tll Yahda Energy Solar North project on Haida Gwaii, BC. This project is the largest Indigenous-owned and -led solar project on BC Hydro’s non-integrated grid.

Aileen is deeply committed to supporting others and advancing diversity in STEM. She is active in her community through ACEC's Young Professionals and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committees and volunteers with Big Sisters, where she has mentored a young woman from high school into post-secondary education.
