Zabeen is an executive advisor in the private and public sectors, as a thought leader in Future of Work, leadership, purpose, AI and work, and DEI. Drawing on her senior leadership and board experience, she brings a practical perspective to her advisory roles, and as a speaker, writer, and media commentator. Now disrupting retirement in her Purposeful Third Act, she strives to make impact by activating her purpose: "to unlock human potential and build inclusive prosperity.” Zabeen had a distinguished career at RBC, culminating as Chief Human Resources Officer for ten years, with oversight for 80,000 employees across diverse businesses, and member of RBC’s Group Executive. Current business roles include Executive Advisor, Future of Work at Deloitte, and Senior Advisor to Knockri. She serves as Special Advisor on Public Service Renewal and EDI to the Clerk of the Privy Council for the Government of Canada, member of the Toronto Metropolitan University Bridging Divides Advisory Board, Executive-in-Residence at Simon Fraser University, the Boards of Junior Achievement Worldwide and Public Policy Forum. A trailblazer in Human Resources and EDI, Zabeen has received numerous recognitions, including the Canadian HR Awards Lifetime Achievement in HR Leadership, Governor General's Meritorious Service Medal for Diversity and Inclusion, SFU Outstanding Alumni Award, and Catalyst Canada Honour for championing women and minorities in business and WXN Top 100 most powerful women hall of fame inductee.
