Anna Mahler

Environmental Consultant, EcoAdvisors

Anna Mahler has been with EcoAdvisors since 2022, originally as a co-op student and now consultant. Anna contributed to many projects including the development of EcoAdvisors’ IMM Framework to track the firm’s impact influence across a range of conservation projects. She also played a lead role in advancing EcoAdvisors’ status as a Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) Early Adopter—currently one of only ten in Canada—by conducting foundational research, mapping disclosure pathways, and developing guidance aligned with TNFD’s LEAP approach for both consulting and project-based sectors. Prior to joining EcoAdvisors, Anna worked with Environment and Climate Change Canada as a Junior Policy Analyst within the freshwater division, and at Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre in Aotearoa/New Zealand, a breed-for-release facility and visitor centre working to restore endemic bird populations and educate the public. She is completing her undergraduate degree as a Joint Honours student in Environment, Resources and Sustainability and Peace and Conflict Studies (Co-op), with a Minor in Geography and Environmental Management, at the University of Waterloo in Ontario.
