Wendy Berman is a distinguished legal professional with over 30 years of experience in securities litigation, regulation, and corporate governance. Most recently, she was a partner and head of the National Securities Litigation practice at a national law firm in Toronto, where she advised public companies and boards on complex disclosure, regulatory, and governance matters. Previously, Wendy was Vice-Chair of the Ontario Securities Commission, where she served on the board, executive team, and adjudicative committee. She led or participated in adjudicative panels on securities enforcement and transaction-related matters and oversaw key regulatory initiatives in Canadian capital markets, including climate-related and diversity disclosures, crypto asset regulation and burden reduction for Canadian issuers.
