Diana (she/her) currently holds the position of Lead, Environment and Climate Sustainability at the UN Global Compact Network Canada where she oversees management of the Climate Ambition Accelerator programme, research and webinars around climate change, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
Diana has a Master's degree in Food Security and Human Development from Roma Tre University and a Certificate of Adult Education from the University of Toronto. Over the last 10 years, she has worked for different United Nation agencies, social impact organisations, government and the private sector. She strives for the intersection of partnerships to collaborate towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and addressing climate-induced emergencies.
Having built an international career living in different countries, she's seen the impact of climate change first hand working with different smallholder farmers across Africa and South-East Asia. She enjoys working on complex problems with global impact, especially sustainable agricultural development. A passionate advocate for education and training, Diana has designed and facilitated learning programs that empower individuals and organisations to develop practical skills and critical thinking abilities to address complex challenges.
In her free time, Diana takes every moment to travel, learn different languages and dance.
