Salma Boudina is the Interim Director of Programmes at UN Global Compact Canada, where she leads strategic programmes that help companies embed sustainability into strategy, governance, and operations.
Prior to this role, Salma served as Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Morocco, where she positioned the network as a catalyst for sustainable business transformation in Morocco and across Africa. She led cross country initiatives addressing key climate and social sustainability focus areas, from energy transition and circular economy to sustainable supply chains and socio-economic development.
Throughout her career, Salma has provided strategic advice to executives of leading companies across Africa and the Middle East, supporting them to translate sustainability priorities into actionable strategies that drive impact and increase performance. She is recognized for building trust with partners and guiding organizations through complex transformation journeys.
Her professional experience also includes work with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission, where she managed international projects and partnerships focused on capacity building and innovation in higher education.
Salma’s leadership approach is grounded in integrity, evidence-based decision-making, team empowerment, and a deep commitment to meaningful impact. She holds a dual Master’s degree in Management and Business Economics.
