Catherine Thibault is a seasoned corporate communications and marketing executive who has worked in leading multinational organizations for 20+ years. She joined CGI in January 2023 as Vice-President, Executive and Enterprise Communications, where she leads a global team of communications professionals delivering engaging executive and internal communications to the 90,000+ CGI employees worldwide.
Prior to joining CGI, she was Head of Communications at Power Sustainable, a subsidiary of Power Corporation of Canada specialized in sustainable investment. In this role, she led internal and external communications for the company and its investments platforms globally. Catherine also worked at CAE for 15 years, her latest role being Director, Public Affairs, Global Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility, where she was leading communications with internal and external stakeholders globally for, as well as the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and reporting.
Catherine started her career at Cossette Communications-Marketing in Project Manager and Account Executive capacities. She worked on national marketing campaigns with clients from a variety of industries, including food, retail, telecommunications and automotive.
Catherine holds a bachelor' degree in Communications (public relations profile) from the University of Quebec in Montreal. She was Chair of Aéro Montréal’s Image, Visibility and Marketing Workgroup from 2019 to 2022. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Scientific Research Foundation and the United Nations Global Compact Canada.
