Kate Lindsay

Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, Forest Products Association of Canada


Kate Lindsay works in sustainability, conservation, and policy development. She has spent 20 years working in the fields of sustainable resource development, climate change mitigation and adaptation and more recently on market access and international trade. She has held roles with the forest industry, federal, provincial and municipal governments, as well as being the principal at an environmental consulting firm.

Kate is responsible for working with FPAC members, partners, and governments to advance environmental and climate leadership files, as well as evidence-based federal policy. Kate is a member of the National Nature Advisory Committee, FireSmart Canada Advisory Committee and a Board member of Wildfire Resilience Consortium of Canada (WRCC). Kate is also a Registered Professional Biologist.
