Olenka Forde is a founding member and Director of Strategy and Integration at Regeneration Enterprises, a public benefit corporation that recovers minerals from mine waste to support ecosystems and communities impacted by legacy mining.
Olenka applies her technical background with an interdisciplinary lens to address environmental issues in the mining and oil and gas industries. She enjoys building connections across disciplines and sectors, finding common threads in uncommon themes to solve complex problems and spark systemic change – which is exactly what drove her to Regeneration.
Olenka completed her PhD in Hydrogeology at the University of British Columbia and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute. She lives in Squamish, BC with her husband, overly energetic dog, and mischievous two-year-old son.
